Op Art Color Wheels
On one side we painted a traditional color wheel. On the other side we created an Op Art name design using either an analogous or complementary color scheme.
Sixth Grade Art History Tiles
Sixth Graders start each art class with a famous work of art projected at the front of the room. Each student writes a reflection about the artwork in their sketchbook focusing on the elements of art. After students research and get a feel for their favorite artists or style, they will create an artwork for display on our artroom ceiling. Next time you visit the artroom, look up!
6th graders worked in partners to create a 2 point perspective drawing. They used giant paper and a crayon rubbing technique using architectural texture plates.
Sixth graders researched a famous artist in ILT class. They used learned information to create a board game. Students played each other's games and completed a game review.
